Experience

State Farm

Software Engineer

May 2024 - Present

Enterprise Technology Intern, May 2024 | Engineer I, Jan 2025 | Engineer II, Sep 2025

  • Leading a cutover to more stateless enrollment processing for Drive Safe & Save® Business. The redesign has removed about 40,000 lines of legacy code while retaining timing-dependent ordering. The product supports vehicle and driver enrollment, consent, vendor account setup, and policy lifecycle changes.
  • Led the migration of 18 JavaScript services into a TypeScript monorepo, reducing duplication and improving maintainability.
  • Created an internal developer platform for event search and visualization, logs, replay, enrollment insights, and team tooling.
  • Migrated a legacy React enrollment UI to Next.js, defining authentication, data display, and caching patterns. Built integration tests for AWS Lambda and SQS middleware.
  • Coordinated Terraform and platform dependencies for production readiness. Wrote a ROSA migration guide used by other enterprise teams.

Bloxlink

Full-stack Developer (Contract)

Jun 2021 - May 2024

  • Developed the API and web application for a platform serving 2.5 million monthly active users, using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Built Roblox OAuth2 verification and Discord administration workflows; integrated Chargebee subscription billing and entitlements.

Projects

ReAdmin (opens in a new tab)

Founder & sole developer

Source available since Aug 2026

  • Founded a full HR and operations platform for Roblox communities: hiring, staff records, team hierarchies, approvals, time tracking, session summaries, live chat, and remote administration. Reacquired it from Bloxlink and restarted it with Anthony in 2023 as the sole developer.
  • Built the Next.js/tRPC dashboard, Roblox module, and backend. The hosted platform recorded 793 million session events across 12 million play sessions, with 17 million group audit records.
  • Designed data models for inexpensive operation and fast access to years of activity. Worked around restrictive Roblox APIs to sync tens of thousands of users; ingested bulk game data and deduplicated retried batches.
  • Closed the hosted service and made the code source available under PolyForm Noncommercial, with data export/import for self-hosting.

Time2Bike (opens in a new tab)

Developer · Software & timing hardware

2025 - Present

  • Building a bike race management platform covering event setup, registration, payments, volunteers, check-in, live timing, results, and series standings.
  • Built the infrared timing system used at Truett McConnell University's 2026 dual slalom race. The platform also supports offline check-in.

ReAdmin figures are rounded historical database record counts.
